Date and time
Anne Woods has been a guide at Adlington Hall for the past 16 years. In her talk, Anne will trace the history of Adlington Hall back to Saxon Times. The Hall has been the home of the Legh family since 1315.
The talk is illustrated and will cover the history and the architecture of the present Hall with special mention of some of the more prominent and colourful members of the family together with noteworthy visitors. Information about the gardens will also be provided since they are probably the most important gardens in Cheshire from a historical perspective.
