Breakdance classes for children

About this event

Join Fresh Skillz CIC's weekly breakdance classes for children and young people aged 8 to 16 in Stockport Town Centre. Our fun and inclusive sessions are suitable for beginners and those with previous experience.

Participants will learn:

• breakdance foundations
• footwork
• freezes
• basic power moves
• musicality
• performance skills

while also improving:

• fitness
• coordination
• balance
• confidence

Classes are delivered in a safe, supportive environment where young people can express themselves creatively, make new friends, and develop teamwork and communication skills. Our experienced instructors encourage every participant to progress at their own pace, helping them build self-esteem, resilience, and a positive attitude towards physical activity.

Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers suitable for exercise and bring a bottle of water.

All equipment is provided, and no previous dance experience is required.
