Stopford House is the main office building for Council employees within the civic complex and has recently undergone significant refurbishment to offer staff an improved working environment to boost wellbeing, productivity and collaboration. The design for the building was 2 years in the making and involved input from colleagues across the organisation. Colleagues wanted spaces to come together as teams to work collaboratively. They also wanted quiet spaces to facilitate focused work and spaces to allow creativity and fresh ideas to be generated. The result is a building that has been designed to allow maximum flexibility, embraces hybrid working and allows colleagues to choose how they work best while in the office.
