Parent Group Leader training

We train local volunteer parents, known as Parent Group Leaders (PGLs), to deliver parenting groups in their own communities.

PGL training includes:

  • 10 weekly sessions (term time only)
  • lunch, travel, and childcare costs covered during training and course delivery
  • ongoing support from a dedicated supervisor during course delivery
  • access to development days and online council training
  • additional training opportunities from local community partners
  • social events, including ‘PGLs in the Park’ meet-ups, summer gatherings, and Christmas celebrations
