Payment of Education Penalty Notices

Arrangements for making payment will be detailed in the Education Penalty Notice. The penalty is payable to the LA (through Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council).

Payment of an Education Penalty Notice discharges the parent’s liability for school attendance offences during the period in question and they therefore cannot subsequently be prosecuted under other enforcement powers for the period covered by the Education Penalty Notice.
