2-year-old early education
As a childcare provider, you can work flexibly to help meet the needs of the parent within the following limits:
- the child can have a maximum of 570 hours per year of free childcare and early education
- they can take a maximum of 15 hours per week during term time only (38 weeks per year), or if you the provider is open year round, they could take fewer hours every week but spread them across the year. Each free session can last up to 10 hours a day up to a maximum of 15 hours per week
- they can purchase a 'top up' for additional hours if you have space available
