Stockport Neurodevelopmental Team
About us
We offer advice and support for parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people who are:
- educated in a mainstream educational setting
- a Stockport resident
- aged between 5 and 16
Our offer includes:
- exploring neurodiversity and exploring autism courses for parents and carers
- neurodiversity assemblies
- Riding the Rapids course for parents and carers
- webinars for parents and carers on various topics
- monthly information and advice sessions to offer support and signposting to parents and carers
No diagnosis is required to access our service.
We collaborate with services like the Jigsaw Team, Educational Psychology Service, and more to provide a joint response to needs.
