About us
Brook Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea screening service for young people.
Brook provides the opportunistic chlamydia and gonorrhoea screening programme for asymptomatic young women and men aged 16 to 24 living in Stockport.
The tests (and treatment if required) are easy to access, confidential, free and painless. Testing kits can be ordered online, which are then sent out by post, or a resident can visit a distribution site. Returned kits are tested and treatment is provided for cases of uncomplicated chlamydia. Residents with results of complex chlamydia and/or gonorrhoea are referred on to the sexual health service for treatment.
This is a screening service only. If you have symptoms or are concerned about any other aspect of sexual health, you should contact Locala sexual health service.
