Whether you have been part of a church family all your life, are starting to ask questions, or you just want a friendly place to have a cup of tea, you are welcome here.
At St Matthew’s we have a mixture of worship styles, as well as signed services, holiday activities for children, a rich prayer life, and a friendly Saturday cafe. Our stunning church is the perfect venue for your wedding or baptism. We are an inclusive church - we welcome everyone.
We have a vibrant Toddle Time group, for little ones and their grown ups, as well as hosting the Socially Yours group every Tuesday afternoon.
On the second Saturday of the month, we welcome groups like Comfortable with Computers (free help to support you online) and Neighbourhood Charity Crafters (a free to attend group, where all items are donated to charity).
We also have summer and Christmas fairs, a heritage open day and a very popular community open day in September.
