About us
We are an outdoor conservation group who meet on Sundays at National Trust properties across South Manchester and beyond.
We could be cutting down and burning rhododendrons, building/repairing footpaths and fences, clearing ponds, hedge laying, planting cotton grass or maintaining woodland and heathland.
Tools and equipment are provided as well as on-the-job training. All you need to bring is lunch and a willingness to get dirty.
You get to spend the day in glorious countryside, with a friendly group, learn new skills, make new friends, get some exercise and do some good for the environment.
If you volunteer for more than 50 hours the NT gives you free NT membership and a 20% discount card for the following year.
To join in, send us an email.
