About us
The group carries out maintenance and improvement of the park and its facilities. We supplement the work of the council to provide a large open relaxation and leisure space in the centre of Marple with a range of activities and facilities in the park for all ages.
This is enjoyed and appreciated by all Marple residents and many from surrounding areas.
The park was originally set up as a memorial for the fallen in WW1 and we maintain that dedication and objective.
