The Friends of the Park are a small group of locals who care for the area. They're an enthusiastic group who:
- organise litter picks
- plant shrubs
- promote the multi use green area
- support the Hatton Hilltop Sanctuary, the community centre and the bowlers
They have regenerated the Pavillion and it is now a community area for other groups to use.
