About us

We are a charity supporting families who are pregnant and/or have children under the age of 5 with weekly visits in their homes from a volunteer.

We can help families who may be experiencing:

• loneliness
• isolation
• mild to moderate mental health challenges
• financial worries
• multiple births
• bereavement
• postnatal depression
• other issues affecting family relationships

The volunteer will work with the family to recognise their strengths, offering the support they need to help them and their children to thrive. This may be through practical help and emotional support. The support is free, confidential and non-judgemental.

Families can self-refer on our website or ask for a referral through their Health Visitor, Midwife or other social care/health professional.

We also welcome volunteers from the Stockport area who are interested in supporting families and their babies and children. Comprehensive training and support given.
