We provide a respite service within the local community, to children with SEND/additional needs. This has been co-produced with parents and carers who have taken part in our LPD test and learn with Seashell Trust.
ACE SEND Superstars was created to provide provision where these children have equal opportunities access:
- sports and physical activities
- sensory activities
- ways to develop SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) skills
- enrichment opportunities alongside their peers
Activities are varied, barriers to accessing provision are reduced to an absolute minimum, and we consider the needs of children before delivery takes place.
Children engage in two 45-minute activities each session, one of those being physical, and the other sensory/enriching/SEMH based.
Short breaks
For short breaks, a referral is required from the Children With Disabilities team. For more information, contact the Multi-Agency Safeguarding and Support Hub (MASSH).
We're a Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) provider
We provide activities and food for children and young people during the school holidays. Contact us to find out more.
