Supported swimming lessons
SEND family swim sessions are suitable for families with children with special education needs or disabilities. The capacities of these sessions are reduced for a less crowded experience.
Supported swimming lessons scheme is for children aged 4 to 11 years with a disability who may need more support and a smaller class size than mainstream lessons can offer. The aim of these lessons is to teach children to become more independent in the water and help them to join a mainstream class.
Bookings must be made in advance to avoid disappointment.
Family Hub
This facility is a Family Hub which brings together services, organisations and groups that you can access in one place.
Family hubs support families from pregnancy through to young people aged up to 19, or aged up to 25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
