About us
We're a small volunteer led community group that cares for Happy Valley, a local nature reserve, in Bramhall.
The Friends organise task days on the second Sunday of each month, except November when the task day is on the third Sunday and December when we take a rest. Additional task days may be organised during balsam bashing season, meadow maintenance and if nature throws an event that affects the valley.
We love new volunteers to join us on task days, although under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
The equipment needed is supplied on each task day, unless we specifically ask volunteers to bring something with them.
We always supply coffee, biscuits and the time for a friendly chat.
