Claytime Stockport
About us
Claytime Stockport is a community voluntary organisation in Stockport. We work with existing venues and community organisations that already host events and can facilitate sessions with local people, including:
- people with mental health needs
- people with disabilities
- children
- refugees and asylum seekers
- elderly citizens
We aim to enable people to express themselves and potentially gain therapeutic benefits through working with clay.
At the end of each session, we take away people's creations, fire them in a kiln and return the fired pottery pieces to their makers.
