Dignity in care

We are committed to improving dignity in care for people in Stockport.

We aim to make sure that the people who use local health and care services have a positive personal experience. View the partnership agreement (PDF 88Kb) for information about the levels of service. People in need of care can expect to receive this.

Anyone wishing to support the Dignity in Care campaign can sign up to become a Dignity Champion.

Dignity Action Day 2018

If you care about making services better for people, treating people as individuals and getting the basics of care right then get involved in the next Dignity Action Day on 01 February 2018.

We support the Dignity Action day in partnership with NHS Stockport, Healthwatch Stockport and other health and social care organisations.

Dignity Action Day is a national initiative lead by the Dignity in Care Campaign. Its aim is to bring staff and members of the public together to make a difference to those in care.
