Learn My Way
All of our libraries are part of the National Digital Inclusion Network. It gives us access to Learn My Way, a web resource that supports learners in their online journey.
Learn My Way gives you the chance to develop your digital skills with free online courses for beginners. It helps you to make the most of the online world.
You can learn basic online skills including:
- how to use a mouse and keyboard
- using the internet
- how to create and use your own email account
Once you’ve grasped the basics, you can go even further and learn how to bank, shop and job hunt online using the short courses offered by Learn My Way.
Register for a Learn My Way account
When you register for a Learn My Way account, the registration form will ask you to select the reason that you're registering. Select ‘being supported by an online centre’ and, when prompted for the online centre, type the name of your local library.
Digital support drop-in sessions
We offer digital support sessions in some of our libraries. Drop in to get one on one support from one of our digital champion volunteers. You can get support on your own device or on one of our library computers. Visit our events calendar to find digital support drop-in sessions.
