Enforcement Agent action

If a suitable payment arrangement has not been made, the collection of your account may pass to an Enforcement Agent. Once this action is taken, you will have to contact the Enforcement Agent to discuss payment of your account.

As well as the outstanding business rates you owe and summons costs that will have been incurred, referral to an Enforcement Agent will incur additional costs (PDF 76Kb).

The Enforcement Agent has the right to take control of goods in order to sell them to enforce the payment of debts.
