Dementia Friends

We're backing the national campaign to help people with dementia live well.

The Dementia Friends campaign is being run by Public Health England and the Alzheimer’s Society. The aim is to encourage people to help tackle one of the biggest health and care issues facing the region.

It's estimated that 4,048 people in Stockport are currently living with dementia. The campaign will highlight how doing small things can make a difference to people living with this condition.
