Overview
You can request reasonable adjustments if you're an autistic person involved with the criminal justice system as either:
- a victim
- a witness
- an offender, or person who has been accused of committing a crime
You may find it helpful to show an autistic card to let people know that you might need some extra time or help in certain situations. You can visit the National Autistic Society website to download a free autistic card.
