If you need an update on the status of your planning application, contact the case officer dealing with your application.
Their details will be on the letter we sent you.

General planning enquiries

To contact us about a general planning enquiry, you can:

  • call 0161 474 3050 and select option 1
    phone lines are open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 3:30pm
    lines are closed weekends and bank holidays

We can help with:

  • general building control enquiries
  • signposting you to an inspector for advice at the start of your build project

Contact Conservation

Within a conservation area there are extra planning controls over:

  • demolition
  • minor developments
  • protection of trees

There may also be some special planning controls in the form of Article 4 Directions.
