Conservation and heritage strategy
Last updated 9 April 2018
The conservation and heritage strategy brings together conservation and heritage activities for the first time within a single document.
As part of the consultation process a series of workshops took place with internal and external partners. This gave the opportunity for an open discussion on the scope and content of an integrated conservation and heritage strategy.
Representatives included volunteer and community groups, individuals and local civic and amenity societies.
The proposed document is broken down into two sections. The first document sets the scene and deals with the strategy element. The second addresses key issues and proposed action.
The documents can be viewed below:
- Conservation and heritage strategy 2008 (PDF 805Kb)
- Conservation and heritage strategy 2008 action plan (PDF 106Kb)
An action plan will be developed, informed by the issues and resources available to deliver them.
