Citizenship ceremonies

If you've been granted British citizenship, you must attend a citizenship ceremony.

The heart of the citizenship ceremony will involve prospective citizens making an oath and affirmation to Her Majesty the Queen and a pledge of loyalty to the United Kingdom after which a certificate will be presented.

Citizenship ceremonies can take place at the register office within the Town Hall or virtually to suit your preference.
