Support for childminders
All childminders in Stockport have access to the Local Authority EYFS Childminding Improvement Officers who can offer one to one support through the registration process and beyond.

Newly registering childminders in Stockport have access to a mentor or 'buddy' support scheme. As childminders go through the registration process, the scheme coordinator will contact proposed childminders. They will ask them if they would like to be linked with a support childminder who will give friendly guidance and information.
