Reasons for changing schools
We understand families may seek a change of school because of a house move (including from overseas), bullying or other concerns. However, changing schools may not always be the answer, as the situation may continue at a new school. We advise parent and carers to discuss your reasons for wanting to transfer with your current school before making any application.
Change of address
If you're applying to change schools because of a change of address, including from overseas, you must provide documentary evidence of this move. Examples of evidence that you could provide include a:
- completion statement
- tenancy agreement
- Council Tax bill
