About Stockport Family’s Education and Careers Advice Service (ECAS)

Stockport Family’s Education and Careers Advice Service (ECAS) provides targeted, independent and impartial careers information, advice and guidance for young people in school year 11 and in the post 16 community.

We support young people aged 16 and 17 who are not in education, employment or training. If you're aged 18 or over, you can find support by contacting the National Careers Service.

ECAS is part of an essential wider network that makes sure that the right provision is available for Stockport’s young people. This includes colleges, training providers and Job Centre Plus.
