Camera car fines
Last updated 8 October 2020
We use a car fitted with CCTV at known danger spots around schools to improve safety. This includes parking on school entrances and at bus stops.
During term time, the camera car is used around schools to focus on 'Keep Clear' markings.
When the camera car is not in use around schools, we use it in bus lanes and other areas affected by dangerous parking.
If you park illegally, you may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) of £70, which is reduced to £35 if you pay it in 14 days.
You can view any video or photo evidence on our parking portal, you'll need your:
- PCN number
- vehicle registration
- web code which you can find on your PCN
