After making an appeal
Whilst you're awaiting the outcome of your appeal you should continue to make payments as directed on your original bill.
If you fail to make the required payments then we'll take the appropriate recovery action against you for the monies that are outstanding. If the outcome of your appeal is favourable then we'll refund any difference between the amount you have paid and any reduction resulting from your appeal.
If your rateable value changes as a result of your appeal and the amount of business rates that you have to pay is altered because of this, we'll let you know by issuing you with a revised bill.
