Stockport Homes Furniture Recycling Service
This is not a waste removal service.
Stockport Homes has a furniture recycling project which helps those in need when moving into a new house or property. The service relies on unwanted furniture in good condition and electrical white good donations. We can collect good quality donations but please be aware that all soft furnishings need to comply with 1988 safety regulations - most armchairs and sofas have a label at the bottom.

You can also advertise your bulky furniture items free of charge in the local paper and on some websites such as Freecycle and Stockport Freegle.
You can take items to your local tip or recycling centre free of charge.
Please note: Bredbury is the only tip that has access for vehicles over 2 metres. For more information visit the Recycle for Manchester website.
