Winter bowling greens in Stockport
The bowling greens will be open from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027.

All Stockport Council bowling greens are fenced and gated. Permit holders can apply for a key at the libraries listed further down this page.
Bowls charges
To buy a bowling permit you'll need to bring a passport sized photo with you.

Club members (Where the home green is council owned)
- Senior club member permit: £31
- Junior (under 18) club member permit: £16
To benefit from the club member discount, you must purchase a permit via your club.
Non-club members
- Senior non-club member permit: £35.50
- Junior (under 18) non-club member permit: £17
You can buy non-club member permits and apply for a bowling green key at the following libraries:

- Edgeley
- Hazel Grove
- Marple
- Marple Hub, currently located in the Scout Hut (no cash payments available)
