4. Cremation fees

The fees below are for residents and non-residents.

For ages under 16, there is no charge.

Service fees

Monday to Friday

For services between 9am and 3pm the fee is £825. This includes:

• use of Rowan or Cypress chapel
• a chapel attendant
• relay music
• 45 minutes for arrival and service

For services between 3.45pm and 4pm the fee is £977. This includes:

• use of Rowan or Cypress chapel
• a chapel attendant
• relay music
• 45 minutes for arrival and service

For early morning services between 8.30am and 10am the fee is £675. This includes:

• use of Rowan or Cypress chapel
• a chapel attendant
• relay music
• 30 minutes for arrival and service

For unattended cremations without a service at 8.15am or 8.20am the fee is £499. This includes 15 minutes for funeral directors to arrive and have a moment of reflection.

Weekends and Bank Holidays

For cremations taking place on a Saturday the fee is £977. For cremations taking place on a Sunday or Bank Holiday the fee is available on request.

The fee for cremation of body parts is £263.

Book of Remembrance

The Book of Remembrance can be viewed:

• Monday to Thursday from 9am to 4:30pm
• Friday from 9am to 4pm

• emblems and special artwork on 5 lines and over £127

Memorialisation

The fee for a bronze plaque or wall tablet for a 10 year lease is £698.
