5. Naming ceremonies

A Naming Ceremony is a very special way of celebrating your child's birth and welcoming the new arrival into the family.

It is a unique occasion for everyone to feel involved and to offer their support in your child's future development.

Naming Ceremonies may be held at the Robert Hyde Room and Brumwell Thomas Room or at a number of approved, suitable venues throughout Stockport. The cost of Naming Ceremonies as from 1 October 2017 are as follows:

The Robert Hyde Room

  • Monday to Thursday: £100
  • Friday: £125
  • Saturday: £150

(A deposit of £50 will be deducted from the fee)

Brumwell Thomas Room

  • Monday to Thursday: £150
  • Friday: £175
  • Saturday: £200

(A deposit of £50 will be deducted from the fee)

Approved Premises

  • Monday to Thursday: £175
  • Friday: £200
  • Saturday: £225
  • Sunday and Bank Holidays: £250

All the above fees are inclusive of VAT at the current standard rate and are subject to review annually.
