Work on the new £12 million industrial park began in Spring 2016 and was completed in January 2018.

Local, regional, national and international businesses have relocated to the estate from a range of sectors including aerospace, rail, home improvements, medical and advanced engineering.

The development also includes a new car park to encourage more visitors to explore the River Mersey.

March 2018 update

Residents, businesses, Councillors and guests gathered to celebrate the opening of Aurora Stockport. It was announced another two units have been bought at the industrial park by aircraft component maintenance specialist Aeroco. They have secured further new contracts and needed more space for the growth this will bring.


February 2018 update

Deals on over 100,000 sq ft of space have now been completed at Aurora Stockport, as the new industrial park next to the M60 reaches practical completion.

The trio of deals will see CAF Rail, Aeroco and Anglian Windows join Baumuller at Aurora Stockport. Each company has chose to make the industrial park the base from which they plan to grow their businesses over the coming years.

For both CAF Rail UK and Aeroco Group this is their first base in Stockport. They have chosen to invest in the town due to the scale of opportunities offered to them here and at Aurora. Anglian Windows investment sees the company continue to grow in Stockport after an increase in demand for their products.


January 2018 Update

Work at Aurora Stockport has been completed and practical completion reached. CAF Rail and Anglian Windows have announced they will be moving into the new industrial park joining Baumuller and Aeroco.
