Artist submissions

Submissions will be reviewed by the selection panel which meets every quarter, in November, February, May and August. The panel will decide which exhibitions they think our visitors would enjoy. The panel is made up of people with art backgrounds, including:

  • local artists
  • local art organisations
  • people from higher education settings
  • Stockport Council staff

Exhibitions are booked up in advance so we suggest sending your submission as early as possible.

Promoting your exhibition

We can advertise exhibitions on our website and through our Twitter account. Any other promotion must be arranged by the artist.

Funded proposals

If your exhibition is funded by Arts Council England or Lottery Funded Proposals, it will not generate sales. You should contact the gallery to discuss a gallery rental fee to include in your funding application.
