Admission arrangements and school holiday and term dates consultation

We are the admission authority for all community and voluntary controlled schools in Stockport. We administer matters regarding admission arrangements on behalf of the governing bodies of all voluntary aided schools and academies in the borough. This statutory consultation is being carried out with parents, and other stakeholders, for the whole family of admission authorities in Stockport.

Admission arrangements for maintained schools for 2021 to 2022 will remain unchanged from those determined for 2020 to 2021, with the exception of the items listed below.

We wish to invite interested parties to take part in this consultation on:

  • changes to the admissions policy for St Thomas’ CE Primary School, Heaton Chapel
  • the proposed admission arrangements for Cheadle Hulme Primary School
  • changes to the Published Admission Number (PAN) at Cheadle Primary School
  • Stockport local authority school terms and holiday dates 2021 to 2022

The consultation closes on 12 January 2020.

At the end of the consultation period, admission authorities must determine and publish their admission arrangements. Determination and publication of the 2021 to 2022 arrangements must be made by 28 February 2020.
