Health walks

Walk Stockport offers walks to help you get active and stay active at a pace that suits you.

Walkaday is a scheme that offers friendly walks exploring parks and green spaces within Stockport.

Connect

Connect is hosted by Disability Stockport. They organise group activities which range from quiz nights and pub meals to visiting places of interest. Membership is open to adults aged 18 and up, and activities take place at wheelchair accessible venues. Connect is ideal for people with disabilities and those who feel socially isolated.

Re-engage

Re-engage are committed to tackling loneliness and social isolation.

Volunteer hosts hold free monthly tea parties for small groups of people aged 75 and over. If you live alone and need help getting out and about, volunteer drivers will take you to and from the party safely. You'll receive a warm welcome and plenty of tea and sandwiches.
