5 year housing land supply

The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) requires local authorities to identify and maintain a supply of land to build new homes on for at least the next 5 years. We're required to share this information in an annual position statement.

Our statement concludes that Stockport has a land supply of 4.2 years. The housing land supply position statement sets out how we have calculated the supply of land within Stockport, the methodology and assumptions used.
