Garden waste permits are now available to buy for collections from 1 April 2026. You'll need to buy a garden waste permit if you plan to use your green bin for garden waste.

The Bee Network bus deregulation has been brought in GM from September 24

Free bus travel all day for older and disabled residents from March 2026

Older and disabled people in Greater Manchester will benefit from free round-the-clock travel on Bee Network buses, with the permanent lifting of the 9:30am restrictions on concessionary passes from March 2026. Visit TFGM for more information and to apply.
