Welcome to Walkaday, our program of friendly led walks discovering the parks, footpaths and greenspaces of Stockport.

Come along as an individual, with your family, or with friends, and enjoy the best of Stockport, the best of company, and the best of health! All walks are free!

Walks for all

Everyone is welcome to come along to any of the walks in the new summer programme. However, if you think you may require some form of help during the walk you must provide your own assistant.

Accessibility

If you are a wheelchair user capable of maintaining a pace of about two miles per hour for two hours (including a coffee break rest) or feel that you may have difficulty negotiating stiles or uneven ground please let us know in advance so that we can ensure an appropriate route is planned.

The walk distance is usually three to four miles.
