Spring/Summer Walks in Stockport

Walkaday is essentially a programme of friendly walks that explores Parks, Public Footpaths and Green Spaces of Stockport.

The programme aims to encourage people who are new to walking by offering walks at a leisurely pace. The walks are 3 – 4 miles long and unless stated otherwise, the starting time for most of the walks is 1.30 pm.

Each walk is paced to suit the needs of everyone in the group, so don’t worry about having to keep up. Walking is one of the best ways to improve your health and fitness. Why not start with our walks to see how your fitness improves weekly?

Walkaday provides a starting point for people who are new to walking, with an opportunity to enjoy the footpaths of Stockport in friendly company, with people who enjoy an easy stroll.

Walkaday provides an opportunity to walk in company and make new friends. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
