Walking in Stockport

Stockport offers a wide array of walking experiences and Stockport Council is committed to improving the conditions for new and existing pedestrians in order to promote walking to everyone in the Borough.

Walk Stockport

Walk Stockport offers walks throughout the area to help you get active and stay active at a pace that suits you.

All walks are free, friendly, have toilet facilities and end at a café. The shorter walks have resting areas if required.

The walks range from 30 to 90 minutes.

If you would like to take part please call Dawne Fawcett-Tandy on 07800 618575.

On the day, come along to any of our walks a few minutes early, so that one of our trained walk leaders can take your details.

Please ensure you wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
