Stockport Homes offer a wide variety of housing services for all Stockport Council tenants
Stockport Homes is a limited company that is responsible for managing the housing stock owned by Stockport Council. It was set up on the 1st of October 2005.
Stockport Homes is known as an Arm’s Length Management Organisation or ALMO. This means that while the council established the company, it operates independently from it on day-to-day matters.
Stockport Homes delivers the following service on behalf of the Council:
- Repairs and Improvements
- Rent collection
- Allocation of properties
- Homelessness services
- Estate management
- Leasehold Management
- Customer Involvement
