Before submitting your application to School Admissions please read through this Checklist.
Have You...?
- Checked your child's details are correct including date of birth and address?
- Named the schools you want to apply for in the order of your preference? Remember to name six schools in order to maximise your opportunities.
- Considered your catchment school in your selection? You may be higher in the oversubscription criteria than for other schools.
- Put the full name of the school you are applying for (some schools can have very similar names) and the name of the Local Authority where it is located if it isn't in Stockport?
- Put the details of any brothers or sisters attending one of your preferred schools by the name of the school?
- Included any written evidence, if required, relating to your preferences (e.g. medical evidence)?
- Checked all the details before submitting your application on-line? (Important - please keep your e-mail receipt for your application safe).
- Read and signed the declaration on the application form?
- Primary - Returned the form to the school you have named in the first place or to the Admissions Support & Advice Team - or - Applied to your own Local Authority if you do not live in Stockport?
- Secondary - Returned the form to your child's primary (if it is in Stockport) school that you have named in the first place or to the Admissions Support & Advice Team - or - Applied to your own Local Authority if you do not live in Stockport?
