Stockport Council is encouraging Stockport residents and businesses alike, to take the climate challenge and reduce their carbon footprint.

'Kill the Chill'
A campaign called ‘Kill The Chill’ was launched in October 2008 to inform Stockport’s communities about the growing problem of keeping warm in winter and how to overcome the rising costs of electricity and gas in the current economic climate.

Pakistan Floods Appeal
The Council has launched a month long appeal to raise the profile of the flooding disaster in Pakistan to give borough residents the opportunity to support the victims.

Stockport Boost
Stockport Boost is an initiative that brings together the Council, its partners and the business community in helping local residents and businesses during this period of economic downturn.
