The Community Toilet Scheme enables local businesses like pubs, restaurants and shops, to work together with the Council to make more clean, safe and accessible toilets available to the public.
The Council launched the Community Toilet Scheme with several local businesses and is working with other businesses to increase membership of the scheme. This scheme is being run in addition to other Council owned public toilets, listed below.

Members of the public can use the toilet facilities during the premises normal opening hours and without the need to make a purchase. Businesses have the right to refuse entry in exceptional circumstances.
Wheelchair access and baby changing facilities
Currently 17 of our scheme members offer wheelchair accessible facilities and provide baby changing facilities. Details of the scheme members are below and can also be found on window stickers indicating which facilities are available at each particular businesses.
