Business Support for the over 50's

A series of information and workshop sessions are now available in Stockport to inspire the over 50’s to start up in business or become self-employed.

Following the success of the Silver Entrepreneur’s programme in previous years Stockport Council as part of the Stockport Boost campaign have chosen to extend the programme for 2010. 

The course will include a series of workshops and business planning events aimed at equipping attendees with information about a range of aspects of becoming self-employed, such as employment law, financial planning as well as a wealth of practical advice on a range of elements of business planning.

A number of different Silver Entrepreneurs courses are planned over the coming months, the dates are as follow:

March 2010

Information Session:                      Friday 5th March 2010
Business Planning Workshop:        Thursday 24th and Friday 25th March 2010

May 2010

Information Session:                      Thursday 6th May 2010
Business Planning Workshop:        Thursday 20th and Friday 21st May 2010

July 2010

Information Session:                      Friday 2nd July 2010
Business Planning Workshop:        Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th July 2010
