Advice and Information Service
The Advice and Information Service operates from 9 Stockport Direct Local Centres at which people can get advice on Council services, benefits, tax credits, consumer problems, money matters, health issues, and housing problems.
Debt Advice
The Council’s Debt Advice Service works closely with other local debt advice organisations offering specialist debt advice for Stockport residents.

Stockport Direct Local Centres
The Stockport Direct Local Centres provide residents with information and advice and a single point of face-to-face access to Council services out in the community.
Welfare Rights Service
The Welfare Rights Service advises people on problems with social security benefits and tax credits, including representation at appeal tribunals.
