The Leisure Key is Stockport Council's discount card for residents who are eligible through circumstances such as age, income or disability.
We have now extended the scheme to include serving members of the Armed Forces, including Territorial Army Reservists, and their families.
Leisure Key opens the door to reduced charges for leisure and cultural activities, such as sports, swimming, theatre and tickets for Stockport County.
If you have a disability and require support to use a facility, you can obtain a Companion Card. This entitles you to take a relative, friend or carer with you and they will also be entitled to discounts and, in some venues, free admission. This card is completely free of charge and can be used by whoever you wish to help you. Carers can also buy their own Band B card to use independently.
Pick up a Leisure Key leaflet from Fred Perry House, local libraries, Stockport Direct Local Centres and The Tourist Information Office in the market.
For general enquiries and a copy of the leaflet please call the Leisure Key Hotline – 0161 217 6009.
From 10th January 2012, a new system will streamline the claims process removing the need for a paper application form.
